Congratulations to the 55 Year 9 students who have made it into the Year 9 Dance classes for options next two terms. I ended up having to cut 45 people who had also chosen Dance which was sad. Please remember that even if you dont take dance in term three or four you can still put it as one of your options for next year 2009!  HAve a great holidays and see you next term!

Heya Year 13’s!  What a busy term we have had with nearly all of you involved in Stage Challenge. Well done to the Production team of which I am very proud.  Your 3.2 Duets are tomorrow night in the School Hall at 5 or 7pm before showband starts. I hope that it is going well for you Sany-Joy and Jade!!!   Remember you need to complete the 3.2 Choreographic intention form and get your costumes ready for performing tomorrow night!!!!  You have to read out your duets intention prior to performing and then you have until the end of Friday to get the sheets to me.!!! PRACTICE PRACTICE!!!  Have a fab hols and a great break! Love Miss E!

Hello my little Korean Dancers! I am nearly finished your mark sheets from A.S 2.2 – Handbag Solo Choreography, as I have now got all the Portfolios!!!  Well done on making your resits count for those of you who put in lots of effort!   Our Korean Fan Dance will shape up into an awesome assessment presentation, you are all working extremely hard and being culturally sensitive to a new style of traditional Korean Dance.  I will try to hook us up FANS and Cossies over the hols!  Take care and have a safe hols. MWAH!

GOOD LUCK FOR YOUR ACHIEVEMENT STANDARD 1.3 “Something Different” – being performed Thursday 3rd July, 6pm in the School Hall. Remember to go hard and work your butts off!!!  Show the difference in energy and style between each section of the dance. Use lots of effort, facial expression and invite people to come and watch!!! You will get there with more enthusiasm!  – Remember if you want to perform at GIRLS NIGHT OUT in Term Three you need to show me you want to!!! – See you tomorrow!

Hey girls!  Well done to those of you who have completed your Brochure Assessment which was due today!  Thanks for making the effort. Well done to all of you who have performed your Pair Assessments so far, showing your knowledge of the style you chose to demonstrate.  Have a fantastic holiday, keep safe and remember your PE gear for next term!
